Project: We are going on a Bear Hunt

We wanted to finish our English lessons with something special and that's why we've done a project about a "We are going on a Bear Hunt" story book.

First of all, we created our own craft to retell the story. You can find more details about it HERE

We also prepared a Bear Hunt in our classroom and we represented the story. You can watch the photos of the hunt on the links below:

And we also went to the theatre room to watch the video. It's really funny, kids love it and wanted to watch it twice.

Remember, no matter what you find on the way, because if you can't go over or under it, you could probably go through it!

So keep on trying!

PROJECT: Collaborative Designs, Descriptions and Presentations!

This project started some weeks ago, with the human figure below:

Pupils worked in small groups using a Simultaneous Round Table Learning Strategy. They passed the human figure around and drew an item of clothing. This way, each teammate had the opportunity to add something different in their mates' figures.

Once the figures were "dressed up" ,pupils wrote down a description. After that, they were ready to read it in front of everybody. You can watch how proud they hold their final products HERE

Project: 3 classrooms, 4 seasons and 1 MURAL!

This project started with "What's your favourite season?" song; a catchy song about seasons we've been learning. But, in stead of doing one mural in each classroom, we've been working in a collaborative way and we have designed one all together.

Each group was doing something different in order to achieve the same purpose. It's also true that this kind of projects can be difficult to understand, because students in the first and the second groups don't see the final product in their lessons. However, they have a nice surprise the next day!

OUR SEASONS MURAL!!

AND, WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON?? ;)
HAVE FUN AT THE WEEKEND!

Final project: Let's create a poster!

We have created three posters in each classroom, to review some contents and to say goodbye to this great school year.

It's been a colaborative work where they've been writing, drawing, colouring, sharing ideas, working together and learning from each other!!

You can see some pictures about the process and final productions in the presentations below!
