Classroom routines XI: Prepositions box!

We have started our sixth and last unit. This one is about toys and we are also learning prepositions. The ones we already know are ON/IN/UNDER!
To carry out this routine we play with the box below:

Spider web: Animals can...

We have learnt that animals can move in different ways. We built up a spider web and classified animals having into account if they CAN climb, swim, run, walk, jump or fly.

First, we had an empty spider web!

Later, it was full of animals!

And now it is in the corridor!

THIS IS A DIFFERENT WAY TO CLASSIFY...

... AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME TOO! 

Treasure Box XI: Animals minibook

We've created our third minibook! This one is to practise animals and their actions. 

First, we completed a worksheet...

And after that, we created our minibook!!!

Those minibooks are smaller than the others, but full of colour! Students chose their favourite colour!

While we read the minibook, we sing the following song:

Haizea brought her tablet to learn more vocabulary about animals. It is a great resource and we have included in our classroom routines. 

We are also remembering vocabulary from the beginning of the course.
